ROADWORKS cause two mile delays this morning.

The repairs are taking place on the A22 at Golden Cross near Hailsham and have caused traffic delays during rush hour.

There is currently about two miles of traffic on the north side due to the temporary traffic lights.

Traversing the area currently takes about 15 minutes.

The south side is largely untouched.

East Sussex Highways has been asked for an opinion on when the road works are expected to end.
