Robbie Williams leads an outdoor concert at King’s Sandringham

Robbie Williams will lead the first large-scale live music event at the Sandringham royal estate next summer, it has been confirmed.

Organizers say the 48-year-old pop megastar will be joining the concert on August 26 by a number of unannounced “special guests”.

Giles Cooper, from Heritage Live, said: “We all at Heritage Live have the ambition to put on a concert for the legendary Robbie Williams and what’s special about Robbie is that he just keeps getting better and better.

“His 2022 Arena tour was the best I’ve seen him perform and to me he’s the best entertainer since Elvis.

“This will be the most magical concert in the most wonderful surroundings that will live on in our memories forever.”

The outdoor concert follows Williams’ eight-stop tour in October, following the release of his first compilation album XXV, which includes the latest version of his 1997 hit ballad Angels.

The album marks the 25th anniversary of Williams’ illustrious career as one of the world’s most decorated acts, with 14 number-one albums in the UK, after leaving boy band Take That to pursued a solo career in 1995.

Featuring Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange, Take That was hailed as Britain’s biggest boy band of the 1990s, evoking hysteria reminiscent of The Beatles.
