Robbie Williams confessed he became addicted to food after finally beating his addiction to alcohol and drugs.

The Take That star has been open about his problems with drugs and alcohol in the past.

He entered rehab in 2007 after taking prescription drugs and class A drugs. His struggles began around the time he left the band in 1995.

And now the star turns to eating but he is in ‘rehab’.

“When I was 19, something happened to me one evening, where I woke up the next day and I thought, ‘Oh, I’m an alcoholic and I’m an addict.

“I didn’t do anything about it for another two to three years. I was mostly a sane person for most of my life.”

She continued: “Where I am now 46 years old is contentment. There is no passion at all. The ultimate base of negative addictions for me that I can’t cope with is food and I’m slowly fading. I’m down, I’m” I’m managing that, I’m managing that addiction. “

Robbie admitted he started taking drugs to try and cope with the enormous popularity he experienced at the age of 16 as a member of Take That.

The hit Angels – who became one of the biggest solo stars in the world after leaving the group in 1995 – will drink and take drugs to try to live up to people’s expectations of him.

However, it took him a while to understand that he didn’t have to destroy himself with drugs to please others.

Speaking on the Bought The T-Shirt podcast, he said: “I used drugs to fill in the blanks.

“When fame came to me so early, when I was 16 when I was on Take That, it exaggerated all the negative aspects of who I am as a person.

“Before that I was quite content but I was vulnerable and extremely sensitive.”

In 2009, Robbie painted a picture of what he did with drugs and what his lifestyle was like.

He said he would take 20 Vicodin pills a night and even have ’24 hours to die’.

“Then I would take Adderall, which is like speed for people with ADHD,” explains Robbie.

“You can buy Sativa, which is basically LSD for 5 minutes. It’s powerful stuff. That’s where I’ve been. You try your best to balance them together but you never manage.

“It’s an American addiction. Prescription drugs. It wasn’t the best period of my life. You see Anna Nicole Smith run out of – drugs. Michael Jackson quit – drugs. And Heath Ledger. I can relate. to all of that.”
