Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton v Nottingham Forest verdict

Roberto De Zerbi said he didn’t want to talk about bad luck after the 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest.

The Albion head coach showed he was impressed by his side – right up to the last quarter of the pitch.

De Zerbi said: “I enjoyed it very much. I’m sorry for the result.

“I say the same words to the players. I say ‘thank you’ to the players for playing an amazing game.

“Okay, we have to improve in the last 25 meters and work on that. But that’s all I can say.”

Albion goes to Manchester City on Saturday and then hosts Chelsea.

De Zerbi said: “I don’t know if we will see the result, but I know where we have to work,” he said.

“I don’t want to talk too much about bad luck or unfair results or things like that.

“I want to talk about the improvement that we need to make very quickly.” Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton v Nottingham Forest verdict
