Blitzle evolves into Zebstrika, and this is a great opportunity for you to grab one.

There’s also a chance for Blitzle to become shiny, so it’s going to be a great event for shiny hunters.

You’ll also get double candy for each Pokémon you transfer during that hour. That means Blitzle isn’t the only Pokemon to give enhanced rewards.

Regirock takes over the raids

Raid Hour takes place on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 6 p.m local time.

Registeel, the second Regi to appear in five-star raids, is succeeded by Tapu Koko.

During Raid Hour, Registeel will be available at every gym, so it’s a good time to grab one.

Mega Gengar will switch from Aerodactyl for Mega Raids.

Rocket Takeover launches in Pokemon Go

Rocket takeover begins on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from midnight local time by the end of the week.

Rockets will be more common Wednesday through Sunday, appearing at both Pokéstops and balloons.

This gives you more chances of defeating Team Rocket bosses, which have a larger variety of Shadow Pokémon.

Giovanni is back. As always, he’ll lead Persian with his signature Pokemon.

He has three different Pokemon to send out second before ending up in Shadow Registeel.

Ultra leagues adopt the Go Battle League

The Go Battle League will change Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 21:00 GMT UK time.

The Great League will disappear and two Ultra Leagues will take their place in the Go Battle League.

These include Ultra League and Ultra Premier League, both with a max CP of 2.5k.

Ultra League allows all Pokemon under this CP, but the Premier version has limitations.

Legendary, Mythical, and Ultra Beasts are excluded from this format.

Noibat takes over the Community Day

Community Day starts on Sunday February 5, 2023 from 14 o’clock to 17 o’clock local time.

Noibat will be the focus of February’s Community Day, with a good chance of evolving into Noivern.

If you evolve into Noivern at the time of the event, it will learn a special charged move, Boomburst.

There are all kinds of rewards as part of the event and there are increased chances of catching a shiny one.
