Irish singer Róisín Murphy (49) posed for a picture with superstar Janet Jackson (56), saying she spent her time ‘begging’ her for new music.
The Wexford star posted the photo on Twitter, where fans begged the pair to duet.
“Rap!” Excited followers responded. Others were eager to know Janet’s answer to Róisín’s question.
“I beg Janet Jackson to make a new record,” she captioned the photo.
Janet posed effortlessly in a cool suit while Róisín wrapped her arms around the pop icon in a ruched dress with a slit in the center.
Róisín recently released their fifth studio album ‘RÓISín MACHINE’ on October 2.
She describes the five-star rated album as “a 10-year collaboration with my musical partner on the crime drama Parrot/Crooked Man”.
Róisín and the producer received many positive reviews for the project.
She rose to fame in the 1990s as one-half of the pop duo Moloko but has since marked her own solo path.
The Wexford star made no comment from her conversation with the one-time Grammy Award winner, who revealed the release of her twelfth album Black Diamond since 2020.
She’s set to hit the road for an epic comeback tour next year, with a source telling The Sun that the star is “preparing for a performance that packs a punch”.

“She’s grateful to the fans for sticking with her while she’s had a few years to get married and wants to thank them with a great production.
“It will focus on re-releasing her 1997 album ‘The Velvet Rope’ as well as some brand new material. That’s a big deal. “
