Roll call after attack outside Yates Pub in Hastings

Police are seeking witnesses to an “unprovoked” attack in which a man was beaten unconscious outside a pub.

The attack happened around midnight on Friday 8 July outside the Yates Pub in Robertson Street, Hastings, into the early hours of 9 July.

Sussex Police have been alerted that a man had been treated in hospital last Thursday after suffering “severe facial injuries”.

The force is keen to speak to a man, possibly a member of the security staff, who helped the man after the attack.

Officials also want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the attack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on-line or by calling 101 quoting the serial number 1021 dated 07/19.
