Rolling Stones invites Ukrainian choir to perform on stage in Vienna

The Rolling Stones invited a male and female choir from Ukraine to perform with them on stage in Vienna as part of their Sixty tour.

The boys choir Dzvinochok and the girls choir group Vognyk, together with their host Ruben Tolmachov, managed to get from Kyiv by road to Ernst Happel Stadium, where they will perform in front of 56,000 spectators.

Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood – along with Steve Jordan on drums – will perform the song You Can’t Always Get What You Want with 14 members from two choirs on stage in Vienna on Friday.

This was the only time during the Sixty tour in the UK and Europe that a choir would perform with the band.

Host Mr Tolmachov said: “This is a very special night for the two choirs and an opportunity of a lifetime not to be missed, I am delighted that we made Vienna a night to remember for all. we.”
