Roman Kemp has revealed he plans to quit showbiz within five years after receiving a shocking diagnosis of the disorder due to his busy schedule.
The Capital breakfast presenter, 29, has hinted at his long-term plans to stay out of the limelight after he was diagnosed with sleep apnea.
The disorder is a condition that causes a person’s breathing to stop and begin while sleeping, leading to the star having to wear an oxygen mask at night.
Talking to Online emailthe presenter, who settled five years of an early start request for her performance, said, “‘My fatigue levels have declined, and they told me it was because of my job and me. say this is different.
“I’m talking to people who I think I’m going to have narcolepsy because I’m in the middle of talking and will snore and not realize, it’s very weird.
“The doctors told me I had to wear an oxygen mask. There’s absolutely nothing sexy about going back to Roman Kemp’s house.”
He then joked, “They’re expecting candles and mood lights but they’re getting Darth Vader into an oxygen tank,” and quipped that his love life could be. makes for a great documentary for the likes of Channel 5.
His plans into the spotlight revolve around becoming a stay-at-home dad and opening a dog sanctuary.
And Roman, whose famous parents are Martin Kemp and Shirlie Holliman, admits he would happily give up a life in the limelight, insisting he never chose his career for fame.
But he intends to stay for another five years so he can mark his decade in the industry.
“I want at least a decade on the air,” he added. “I’d love to be able to say I’ve been on that show for a decade – whether my bosses will allow it or not, I don’t know.”

In another candid discussion, Roman previously discussed how he has struggled with depression.
Speaking to Steven Bartlett on The Diary of a CEO podcast, he said, “I want at least a decade on the air. I’d love to be able to say I’ve made it a decade on that show – whether the Does my boss allow that. know.”
