Romeo and Duet Viewers Call on Oti Mabuse to Come Back Serious and Play ‘Disgusting’

Romeo and duet contestant Zainab look disappointed about the choice

Romeo and Duet viewers urged Oti Mabuse to return Seriously to Dancing after watching the ITV dating show.

Oti has left the BBC and is currently a judge on Dancing on Ice as well as the new series Romeo and Duet.

The show shows singles trying and winning a date by looking for someone else standing on the balcony above them – but they can’t see them.

Oti, 31, looked sensational as she hosted the second episode wearing a stunning blue dress that showed off her slim legs.

However, less than half way through, viewers begged the South African star to return to the dance floor.

On Twitter, one shocked person wrote: “I can’t believe @OtiMabuse is so seriously walking away for this sh*te! #Romeoandduet is absolutely terrifying.”

Another tweeted: “Oh! I was out last week and didn’t see this. Wish I was out this week too. This is totally a wash. Please come back to the dance floor Oti , you shine! You’re better than this #romeoandduet.”

Another posted: “Has Oti really left @bbcstrictly to host this perfect codswallop ??#romeoandduet” and a fourth suggested: “Ask to bring Oti back on #StrictlyComeDancingor or on a porn show some dance #romeoandduet.”

Other spectators were unimpressed with the fact that the live studio audience showed up to show each contestant how handsome the singers were.

One particularly angry viewer tweeted: “This performance is a total disgrace. The reaction from the audience is to determine if the person agrees or not depends solely on looks and all that. regarding their singing ability. Please take this off. #romeoandduet disgusting.”

They were also buzzing about a contestant named Zainab, who couldn’t hide his disappointment after casting someone named Rory.

When Oti asked Zainab what she thought of Rory, she just shook her head and was clearly unhappy with her choice.

On Twitter, one person said: “What’s wrong with these girls? She doesn’t look happy at all….#romeoandduet.”

Another said: “Wow if looks can kill.. #romeoandduet how rude she is.”
