Ronan Keating has admitted that his “heart hurts” after he let his daughter Missy go to the airport before she moved to Australia.
Her Dubliner left for Oz on Thursday and her Boyzone singer father made sure to get her to Dublin airport appropriately.
Sharing a photo of his two youngest siblings, Cooper and Coco, Ronan wrote: “She’s gone. Australia watch out for @missyykeating on her way. Heart hurts so much. We will all miss her like crazy. I am very excited for you Moo moo. Huge thanks to all the @virginatlantic team for such great care. “
In the comments section, Missy wrote: “What a heartbreaking goodbye. Love you guys so much. Thank you for everything!! Please come visit me as soon as possible. “
And her mother, Yvonne Connolly, also expressed gratitude for her daughter ahead of her big adventure, writing: “… And she’s going to Australia. I will miss you like crazy. Part breaks my heart and part fills with pride.
“You’re amazing. I’ll miss you like crazy Missy. Sydney won’t know what happened!”
The family has spent the past few days celebrating together as Missy (21) prepares to fly around the world by hosting a barbecue.
Ronan has shared several clips on Instagram where he shows off the delicious food on offer, including some Wagyu beef steak.
The videos also show Missy working alongside her brother Jack, who appeared on Love Island this summer, in the kitchen preparing food.

“My little girl went to Oz. I’m so happy for her but my heart is broken. She will be very missed. Last dinner she asked for Wagyu. Only the best for Moo,” wrote Ronan.
Missy replied, “Love you dad. Will miss my gang. “
Missy revealed that she will be moving to Australia earlier this year in an interview with VIP Magazine.
She told the newspaper at the time: “I am going to Australia, I got my visa there the day before. I love meeting new people, I’m at an age where I’m about to settle down so it’s the perfect time to travel.”
