Rosanna Davison reveals her toddlers found the Playboy magazine she recommends – and tore them up

Rosanna Davison has revealed how her trio of toddlers found a stack of Playboy magazines she famously used to publish – and immediately started tearing them up.

Chris De Burgh’s daughter became the only Irish woman to win Miss World, when she won the pageant in 2003.

In 2012, she became the first Irish woman to go topless in Playboy magazine, for their issue in German (later reprinted in the American version).

Now married to casino chain heiress Wesley Quirke, the couple have a daughter Sophia, born to a Ukrainian and will soon be three, as well as twin sons, Hugo and Oscar, about to turn two.

“Probably about two weeks ago, we had this kind of table downstairs in the playroom with the kids,” she said on Angele Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything on RTÉ 1.

“I had a bunch of them in my drawer, and it just got left there and I forgot about them there.

“I see they tore it up. Thankfully, I have a few extra copies. But I can only laugh, how life has changed. Luckily they didn’t recognize me in it.”

Rosanna recalls how she got involved.

“They approached us and that seemed like a fun thing to do. I didn’t see the harm in it, and again there were no children involved at the time, it was just good pictures,” she points out.

My now husband, we weren’t even engaged at that stage. But Wes was very encouraging, and so were my parents. However, it was back in 2012, so Instagram is just new and I feel like we’re no longer sensitive to nudity. It was just more of a surprise.

“But it just came at the right time, that was before I got married and had a family. I am grateful that I did that. I do not regret “.

She admits some families gave her some pranks because of it.

“My two younger brothers, my poor brothers tormented by their friends, show them pictures,” she giggled.

But because she posed for the popular magazine, she was invited by founder Hugh Hefner to the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

“It was in 2013,” she confirmed of her visit to the mansion. “It is very cozy and homely. That’s because my German spread to America’s Playboy in 2013, and Hugh Hefner invited me to join him.
“We had dinner, not just him and me, there was a group of people there. Then we watched a movie at his home cinema, a black and white Charlie Chaplin movie, and then I went home.

“It’s like calling into a friend’s house, having dinner, having a cup of tea and watching a movie.
“But I was looking around, so I looked into his cave. There are a few pictures of boobs on the wall, I’d say a lot of that. “

Rosanna also revealed how her children named their famous dad pets.

“They called him ‘bam bam’ because they couldn’t say grandpa,” she laughed. “His only audience during the lockdown were his grandchildren. They were mostly children. newborn baby. He still goes and he loves it and it’s good for him to keep going. It keeps him busy and out of the way.”

The blonde, now a successful businesswoman in terms of lifestyle and health, also gave more details about when she first met Wed.

“I met him at Club 96, which no longer exists,” she recalls. “A few weeks later, he texted me on Bebo. We chatted, but all my friends said ‘you’re crazy talking to a man on the internet, he could be a serial killer, what are you getting yourself into? .

“It was 2006 and let’s see how things have changed.”

She also reveals that her 96-year-old grandmother Maeve was a spy during the Cold War, deciphering the Morse code.

“She’s my hero,” she beamed.
