Writing in the accompanying note, Billy told how his mother made cheeky remarks about serious professionals.

He wrote: “Dear Rose, my name is Billy and I am four years old. I love serious dance movies.

“Mom and I will watch it after I come back from football on Sunday with a piece of hot chocolate. I don’t like the results showing when I cry when the lights are red and the music is on. It makes me very sad. .

“I’m glad to see you in real life tonight, I think you’re beautiful (all dancers are). My mummy says she won’t kick any male professional dancers. , especially Aljaz and Giovanni, but I don’t know what she means!!! ”

Rose, who is currently on tour in earnest, wrote alongside a snap of her gift: “Thanks Billy, this is adorable!”

After making history by becoming the first deaf contestant on the show, Rose dropped her weight after campaigning for a new “Rose Ayling-Ellis law,” which was first set to award legal status for British Sign Language.

It paved the way for more signers in schools, hospitals and general practitioner surgeries to help deaf patients and students.

EastEnders star Rose moved the nation to tears with her lyrical, poetic dance on the serious stage with partner Giovanni Pernice, in a moving tribute to the deaf community.

The Glitterball title winner used her newly found star cast to urge MPs to do more to roll out the BSL.

Tweeting earlier this week, she said: “Let’s make this happen! #SignTheBill. ”
