Just over three decades ago, Round the Twist first hit our screens, quickly becoming a children’s television staple.
The beloved ’90s classic revolves around a family – single dad Tony, twins Linda and Pete, and younger brother Bronson – living in a lighthouse in Australia.
In each episode, the kids encounter all sorts of surreal and supernatural things, from a tree spirit to nourish anyone who pees on its tree, to a magical stick that makes every woman cringe. enchanted by your enchantment.
Round the Twist has four seasons, the first two airing from 1989 to 1993, and the latter from 2000 to 2001.
One of my favorites was Bronson Twist – played by Jeffrey Walker – which appeared in the second season in 1993.
Bronson’s character sees him obsessed with food and often the outcast among his siblings.
Since appearing on the show, Jeffrey, now 38, has changed quite a bit in his appearance.
Jeffrey has probably stepped out of the show as its biggest and brightest star, directing movies like Riot, Lambs of God, and even nine episodes of Modern Family.
The 38-year-old has also had roles in Police Rescue, Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left, as well as a lead role in Ocean Girl.
This year, he directed the movie Dance Academy: The Movie – the film received a 100% perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.
