Roy Keane has insisted this is not the same Manchester United for which he played after seeing another Mauling from Sky Sports Studio.

Liverpool raged as expected at Anfield as they beat their rivals 4-0 – just a goal shy of their win at Old Trafford earlier in the season. Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane all made it into the top scorers list – the former grabbed a brace – to put the Reds ahead in time First League.

Manchester City face Brighton tonight at the Etihad as they attempt to reassert themselves in a title race that promises to go to the end. But while these two titans battle it out at the top, United can only watch from the gutter.

He said after the game: “I think it was anger at the start of the season, now I just think it’s sadness. Look at the crew today, there was no heart, no soul, no leaders.

“They lacked quality, they were so far away. Look at the Manchester United fans, they don’t look surprised at how the goal ended. They kept going until the end but you felt like Liverpool could take a could score if they went forward .

“This football club is a mess from top to bottom. The fans don’t have time for the owners. They want new owners, a new manager and new players. It’s so sad to see because it’s not the club I have. ” played. It’s not what Manchester United stood for when I played for them, it’s just chalk and cheese. I don’t see a Manchester United team out there fighting or playing with pride.
