Speaking exclusively to the Mirror on Tuesday, the trivia expert – who recently discovered she is distantly related to Queen Elizabeth II – pondered which member of the royal family she believes that it will take what it takes to defeat Chaser.
Last month, the ITV star 63 discovered she was the 19th cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, 95, and King Robert Bruce was her 20-time great-grandfather.

Asked which member of the British Royal Family she could see while giving us a run for her money on The Chase, Anne also confessed her love for Harry and Meghan – joking that she is one of the few people in the UK who likes to talk much about the couple.
“They always say Prince Edward is ‘Educated Eddie’ – I don’t know if he is,” Annie began as she weighed potential royal rivals for the ITV show.
“I think it might be one of those people who is a bit aloof like Lady Sarah Chatto – I think she’s a smart person.”

But when it comes to the person she wants to meet in the green room for a drink after the show, it’s Harry and Meghan.
“I want to go drinking with Harry and Meghan – I like Harry and Meghan!” Anne exclaimed on the red carpet outside the Pride of Manchester Awards on Tuesday night.
“I seem to be the only person left in the UK who likes Harry and Meghan. I would love to go out for drinks with them.”
Anne’s royal chat comes after she made some surprising discoveries about her genealogy in a recent episode of ITV’s DNA Journey.
After learning she is Queen Elizabeth II’s 19th cousin, the quiz genius revealed that her grandmother had told her this before but she didn’t believe it.
Speaking to the show’s historian during the show’s broadcast, Chaser said: “Wow, that’s great. But my grandmother was the biggest liar.
“My aunt says she’s a romantic and she weaves life a little, so I always felt that anything from my grandmother had to be seasoned with a pinch of salt.”
It is found that Anne is related to the family that bears the last name Hayes on her mother’s side. One of the family members married the King’s daughter Princess Elizabeth in 1370.
Anne continued: “My mother was always very much against the idea of someone knowing about their ancestors. She would say, ‘It doesn’t prove anything, honey. “
“As a child, I was always curious about these things and my mother was always very repressed.
“I think it’s because being with my mom is a little bit luxurious, and she thinks I’m going to grow up to be a terrible snob.”
