DANCING With The Stars Startling Laura Nolan told how much money the RTE dance competition has taken on her love life.
Speaking to the Irish Sun, Laura, 27, recently said that relationship complicated situation and today let us know she is currently single.
The International Open champion has told of her constant struggle to balance work and personal life, like DWTS requires contestants to work grueling hours if they hope to take home the Glitterball trophy.
She told us: “This week has been absolutely crazy, it’s been crazy.
“I was asked on Sunday about my personal life and I was really freaked out because at this point, just this week, I realized that my focus was on the show and the things that happened. out in my personal life and I am now single.
“Only after debuting yesterday did I say that I’m in a relationship and it’s complicated. It’s complicated because I came to this show in a relationship but I realized the focus My center and all my work is focused on the performance.
“So it’s just been a bit of a mental week but we’re going to go on and on because that’s all it is, just get in the studio and work hard.
“We’re having a hard time. See, this is the thing of this show, so many hours spent trying and practicing, you’re doing weekly dances so every second counts.

“And when it comes to my life outside of the show, it’s all about the show, it’s hard to balance other things. So for me now, it’s 100% my focus even on my life. My personal life – this has been affected a bit – is all about the show now!”
DWTS is back with a bang as 12 new couples have debuted and will now face qualifying this Sunday.
Laura was paired with the Love Island star Matthew MacNabb, who didn’t quite beat the judges last weekend as the pair finished in last place with 13 points behind their Viennese Waltz.
Both arrived with Covid-19 just days before the show opened, meaning there was little time to practice together.
Laura, originally from Dublin, revealed: “We only got back the Wednesday before the show. People started practicing in November and we have eight days from then until the first show.”
Praising her dance partner’s performance of the night, the 27-year-old added: “I’m absolutely delighted with the way it turned out and the performance that Matt pulled out of his pocket. For someone who isn’t a dancer. being able to go out there and feel so cold and cool about the whole thing I’m really impressed.
“He did everything that I asked him to do and that’s all he could do. I personally feel that the mark could be a little higher. But at the end of the day, it’s just that. The first week and the only way from the bottom of the rankings went up!
“This week is a completely different dance and a completely different feeling so I hope we will be able to put on a good performance and hit a good mark to push us forward. charts a little bit. “
Chill Matt’s fun side wasn’t really shown during his time in Love Island villa said Laura.
“I think he’s a really cool guy. I thought, ‘He’s really a really good guy,’ it’s true.
“Honestly, I think he looks a lot calmer and relaxed than he is. I think he has a very calm personality but he’s actually a very dedicated and consistent person.
“He’s a little crazier. He’s so funny and everyone in the cast loves him, even the people behind the scenes of him. Dancing with the stars really love him but I don’t think people have seen him enough in Love Island. “
She added: “Matt and I get along really well, we have great fevers together, we’re always laughing on set. He’s so calm and cool and even on the first show, I was thinking, ‘Oh my God, is reality hitting when we really start out there?’ But he’s great!
“He just has everything in his stride like I do… we’re getting along really, really well and loving each other’s company and I can’t wait to see what the show will bring for us. I.”
However, viewers can see a more intense side to Matt and his fellow dance celebs this week because someone will be brought home on Sunday.
Laura said: “The feeling in the camp has changed, everyone is stressed, they don’t want to go home.
“It’s like the realization has begun. The past two weeks have been very quiet and people have felt what the reality of the show is like, what it means to perform, but I think once all the celebrities are out, If you take part in it, they’ll realize they really enjoyed it and they don’t want to leave because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“So you can get the sense that people are working those extra hours just to make sure they’ve got it all in mind and done everything they can.
Laura added that new judge Arthur Gourounlian brought a “fresh vibe” to Dancing With The Stars.
She said: “Honestly, I think Arthur is a great judge, I think he’s the perfect fit. He has a lot of evidence behind him in the dance world.
“And it’s great to get a different perspective on it. Loraine and Brian are both from the ballroom and the Latin dance world, Arthur is more about the commercial end of it. So it was nice to get the feedback. his feedback on it because he approached it from a completely different angle.
“And his personality is a great fit and I think the new vibe to the show is really cool! His outfit suits his personality – big and bold!”
