“Sometimes I think about that woman and it makes me really sad.
“A little old lady came up to me and she was wearing a visor and we were out in the open.
“I often think about it Brona and it really makes me really sad.
“I chop her arm. I karate chop her. She was like, ‘Oh you’ve got a baby’ and I saw the hand coming in, in slow motion.
“I said, ‘I can’t…’ It’s a really bad time during the pandemic.
But Amy explains that she is conscious of the virus for her children.
She said: “It’s strange that I wasn’t worried about me but I was very [worried] about the baby.
“I don’t think it was a cut to the arm.
“And then I felt really sad because she said, ‘Oh my God, I’m sorry,’ and then she walked away.
“That still haunts me and isn’t that really part of all this?”
She added: “But pandemic or not pandemic is still weird when you have an infant and strangers go, ‘Ahhh’, and approach. That’s weird.”
But Amy talked about the advantages of having a baby during a pandemic.
She said: “I’ve got three [C] and there is no easy way to get the baby out.
“I actually found this birthing experience easier because I got more rest because no one was allowed in to see me.
