And since then, she and husband Fabio Aprile welcomed their first child, baby boy Wolf.

Lottie performed a salsa for the Dora The Explorer theme song from Dora and the Lost City of Gold on tonight’s first show of the season.

The iconic figure has landed Her first 10 points from the judges during her season on the hit show.

Viewers were impressed with Lottie’s steps right after becoming a mother.

Sarah said: “Love the Dora explorer dance #DWTSIRL.”

2fm star Doireann Garrihy wrote: “Continue @ LottieRyan1 !!!!! Iconique #DWTSIrl.”

Someone tweeted: “Nice to see Lottie again. Still excellent. #DWTSIRL.”

John added: “Lottie is the incredible #DWTSIrl.”

Lottie says she’s grateful to be back on the dance floor.

She said on the show: “I forgot what it was like. It was an honor to come and the excitement and buzz going around here tonight from everyone – new contestants, new people, old professionals.

“To be given the opportunity to come back and be a part of it, I’m so grateful.”

COVID CHAOS

Prepare for Dancing with the stars has fallen into chaos after dance expert Emily Barker became the second person to test positive for Covid-19.

This 25-year-old girl was quarantined this weekend after she discovered the virus and missed it Opening program.

Love Island’s Matthew MacNabb also test positive for the virus just days before the new season begins.

DWTS producers planned to feature six male dancers in the opening episode, like last year, followed by six female dancers next week.

But those plans went up in smoke after Emily tested positive this week, forcing her partner, former RTE broadcaster Aengus Mac Grianna, to isolate as a close contact.

RTE declined to say how many of the dancers on the show tested positive – but the fact that 12 contestants will not appear in the studio is an unprecedented move.

The show’s 2020 season kicked off with famous male artists entering the ring, followed by star female dancers in the second week.
