Calling all young talents interested in the taste of the limelight.
TÉ just placed a call to select applications for a coveted spot on this year’s Late Toy Show.
Speaking on the Ryan Tubridy Show this morning on RTE Radio 1, the host said this year’s grand Christmas celebration will take place on Friday, November 25.
“We are announcing today that the Toy Show application form is now open. We are going early this year. I know it’s only mid-August but we don’t feel it’s doing any harm because we want the best Irish kids in the country to apply,” he said.
“Everywhere I go, every month of the year, people say to me, ‘How do I get my kids to the Toy Show?’ And it’s really easy just visit the Late Late Show website. Fill in and just entangle in the ”.
Tubridy said he and the team will “go big this year”.
“I had a great conversation about it last week, and it’s really going to be very, very special,” he said.
He was joined on his show by young DJ Calum Kieran (12 years old), one of the stars of last year’s show, along with his 5-year-old brother Jackson.
Since appearing on the show last year, he now has 100,000 followers and recently played Iveagh Gardens in favor of Jenny Greene in front of 5,000 attendees. The claimed star has been busy throughout the summer playing at ceremonies, confirmations, 21sts and weddings.
When asked for his advice to any kids hoping to appear on the show, he said: “Be yourself, take your time, have fun and make sure your video is okay – just half an hour or 15 minutes a day, that’s all.”
