RTE viewers jokingly called Transformation Campaign leader John Ryan’s wife “a saint” as he struggled to buy food.

John had a rough start to the week when he was tasked with grocery shopping by his wife Selena.

It was immediately difficult when he explained: “Selena often goes shopping, which is foreign to me.”

He wandered around the shopping aisles for about 40 minutes not knowing where everything was.

John even cheekily bought a cake he said was to “cheat” with his wife and it was very successful.

During his shopping trip, John “phoned up a friend” and called Selena to ask for advice on where to get some of the items on his list.

He said: “This is a bit too much to come here so it takes Selena another 40 minutes and I have only made one isle here.

“It’s fair to me that I have some.”

He then added: “I’m confused so I’ll just let it be.”

Selena then replied, “But you definitely need to do it for the cooking.”

As for his weekly weight, Karl Henry revealed that he has lost an inch and a half to his waistline in the past two weeks which he says is “absolutely gigantic”.

Karl then revealed that he had weighed in at 16.5 pounds this week, meaning he had lost 5 pounds, which John was delighted with.

The trainers set him a goal of losing 2 pounds and cooking some more food for the family.

‘HAPPY HIPS’

RTE viewers took to Twitter to follow tonight’s episode when they said that John was hilarious.
