Rupert Everett has claimed he knows the identity of the elderly woman Prince Harry claims has lost her virginity.
In Harry Spare’s tell-all memoir released last month, he wrote that the event took place in a field behind a “crowded pub”, and that the woman treated to him as a “pony”. He did not reveal her name or any other details about her.
In a new interview with The Telegraph, Everett alleges that the duke’s account is not entirely true and that it does not happen in the UK.
The 63-year-old actor said: “By the way, I know who the woman he lost his virginity to is.”
“And it’s not behind a pub. And it’s not in this country,” he added.
When asked if he’d hinted that the duke had tried to alter the story to protect the identity of the woman involved, Everett replied: “I’m just giving out what I know.”

The Independent has reached out to a representative for the Duke of Sussex for comment.
The incident of losing his virginity, which Harry recounts as an “ingenious episode” in his memoirs, is discussed in the duke’s book as he recalls a time when one of the royal family’s bodyguards, Marko , visited him in 2001 when he was a student at Eton University.
Marko told the prince that he was sent to “find the truth”.

Harry wrote: “I suspect he was referring to my recent loss of virginity. Ingenious plot, with an elderly woman. She loves horses, and treats me like a pony.”
“Go fast, then she hit my ass and sent me out to eat grass,” he added.
“Among the many things that went wrong about the incident: The incident happened in a grassy field behind a crowded pub. Obviously someone has seen us.”
The book revealed that the bodyguard was actually inquiring about the prince’s well-being after Charles’ press office was informed that a newspaper had evidence of his drug use, which Harry said was “all are lies”.
Elsewhere in his interview, Everett said that the memoir made him feel “sad” and “sympathetic” to Harry.
“It made me change my perspective,” he said. “I was very angry before, and now I just feel very sad – sad for Harry. I felt a great deal of sympathy for him over the years and I still do now.”
He said he thought Harry had “put his foot in it” with “Taliban stuff”, a reference to when the duke was widely criticized for revealing that he had killed 25 people while on active duty. the.
“That changed everything and cost him a group that still loved him,” Everett said.
