Olga Skabeyeva told Rossiya 1 viewers that “what it escalated into could safely be called World War Three” and asserted “it’s absolutely certain.”

The propaganda presenter added: “We are certainly now against Nato’s infrastructure, if not Nato itself. We need to recognize that.”

It comes after the sinking of a Russian ship that plunged the Kremlin’s main propaganda mouthpiece into turmoil last night.

Officials do not acknowledge Ukraine’s claim that it attacked the Black Sea fleet with cruise missiles.
