A SHABBY beach hut has been auctioned for £30,000.
The rusty-looking shack is located on Göring’s beach promenade.
An advert with estate agents Michael Jones and Company lists a guide price of £30,000 and the cottage has a ‘Sold’ sign.
According to the advert on Michael Jones, the beach hut is a short walk from Goring Greensward and the promenade and offers “panoramic views” of the sea.
Pictures of the outside of the cabin show rust and chipped paint, but the inside looks clean and neat.
The description reads: ‘Externally there is a patio area leading to the double doors opening onto the cottage and space for tables, chairs, parasols, plates, cups, outdoor games and a variety of many other items and panoramic views of the coast Offer.
“The beach hut is located directly on the seafront at Goring, opposite with unrestricted parking and toilets on the street, a short walk from the Greensward and promenade for pleasant walks west towards Ferring and the very popular Sea Lane Cafe and east towards Worthing capital.
“Local shopping on Goring Road is less than a mile away whilst Worthing town center is about three miles away with its full range of shops, bars and restaurants.”
