Ryanair passenger claims buying cheap Primark saves her heaps on carry-on costs

A SAVVY traveler has revealed that a cheap Primark purchase will save her money on Ryanair’s carry-on fees.
TikTok user Nicole Baskerville shared a video describing her hack to avoid paying the additional baggage fee when flying the popular Irish airline.
Nicole told how she discovered her genius trick while flying to Birmingham thanks to a bag she bought from Penneys – the Irish name for Primark.
The travel enthusiast said: “You know with Ryanair you now have to pay for extra baggage and literally just get a free handbag. Well, that’s your purse.”
She unveiled a red Minnie Mouse suitcase packed with her belongings.
She said: “I got this at Penneys and it’s a kid’s suitcase. It’s the smallest I could find. And it fits in the compartment, it fits under the seat. And voila – it fits so much.


“I have a jacket. i have heels I have some clothes. I have all my toiletries. It’s actually massive.
“I felt like I had a suitcase full of clothes… and this is my purse.”
She continued, “I have this in Penneys. It’s a Minnie Mouse suitcase, so it was €35, but there wasn’t another suitcase that was smaller.”
The bag was spotted in UK Primark stores just last month for £35.
One follower said: “Omg did you deal with that? My tote bag felt too big and I was nervous walking past them.”
When you fly Ryanair, two priority carry-on bags cost between £8 and £30 when booked online.
A 10kg check-in bag costs between £12.99 and £23.99 when booked in advance.
If charged at the airport it can cost £23.99 – £35.99.
