S Club 7 singer, Hannah Spearritt, becomes ‘homeless’ for Christmas

S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt has revealed she has become “homeless” due to the UK’s housing crisis.

In a new interview, Spearritt said they had no choice but to move after a landlord, who had given them two months to move out of their rental home in South West London, set a date to move out. .
The decision gave them two days to find a new place to live and, after finding a short-term rental, the property’s owner asked them to pay £6,000 in advance.
“Our landlord needed the money and the property sold too quickly,” she said Sun. “We ended up with less than two days to leave. What annoys us is that we don’t have time to look elsewhere.
“We had somewhere for Christmas but time ran out before we could move in. Only a few weeks.”
Spearritt and Thomas, whose full-blown coffee shop business in Twickenham had recently stalled and needed more construction, used the vacant land for storage, but said they were “not have nowhere to go” should “stay at our friend’s office”.
“We just use it as a living room,” she continued. “We can work there and the kids play. That’s extra space. The kids’ bed was there and we took all the crayons. The climbing frame was up, for them it was fun.
“It’s stressful but you deal with it, don’t you? Especially with the kids. What doesn’t knock you down, as they say.”
Spearritt said of her S Club reputation: “People think we all have to be millionaires but sadly that’s not true. That’s what it happened and we enjoyed it at the time.

Spearritt is not currently signed up for S Club reunion tours later this year due to recent health issues.
“There is no point in getting paid little and becoming exhausted,” she said. However, she said: “I want them to see me up there.”
Still optimistic, she said: “The deep cycle of life hit us, great difficulties. But in the end we are still here. And the cafe will open. We are looking forward to the future. A lot of people were having a hard time.”
