S Club 7’s Hannah Spearritt and the kids forced out of the house before Christmas

S Club 7’s Hannah Spearritt said she and her family had to move into an office over Christmas and New Year, after being coerced by the landlord.

The popular ’90s pop star said she’s lived in four makeshift homes for the past six months, adding that “it’s stressful, but you’ll deal with it.”

In an interview with The Sun, Spearritt said it was “not true” for the public to consider her and her colleagues “millionaires”.

Speaking of her time in between permanent living spaces, she said: “Our landlord needed the money and the property sold too quickly. We ended up with less than two days to leave.

“What annoys us is that we don’t have time to look elsewhere. We had somewhere for Christmas but ran out of time before we could move in. That was only a few weeks.

“We were allowed to stay in the friend’s office. We just use it as our living room.

“It’s extra space. It’s very stressful but you deal with it, right? Especially with the kids.”

She added: “People think we all have to be millionaires but sadly that’s not true. That’s what it happened and we enjoyed it at the time.

Spearritt also told The Sun that she has contracted an illness that has left her bedridden, while her and her partner’s new coffee shop business has also stalled.

S Club 7 was founded in 1998 and consists of Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett.

Their hits include Don’t Stop Movin’, Bring It All Back and Never Had A Dream Come True.

Spearritt is the only original member of the group not to sign up for S Club’s reunion gig, which includes performances at London’s O2 Arena this fall.

She told The Sun that there is still a chance to join her band mates in comeback performances but that it depends on her health.
