SAG Awards 2022: Lady Gaga and Helen Mirren lead as stunning stars at the ceremony

The stars were in Los Angeles on Sunday night as they attended the 28th annual edition of the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The annual SAG Awards are back on Sunday night, and the stars have taken to the red carpet in Los Angeles to honor the very best in film and television in Hollywood.

The 28th edition of the ceremony was once again full of glitz and glamor as the Screen Actors Guild Awards got ready to recognize some of the most talented performers on both the big and small screens.

The stars looked stunning on the red carpet at this year’s opening event of the Oscars 2022, the first major televised awards ceremony of the year after the non-Golden Globe event.

Lady Gaga was among those looking fabulous when they arrived and the singer-actor made a big impression in a perfectly fitted white and gold gown.

Giorgio Armani Prive’s stunning gown showed off her toned figure and was adorned with glittering, gold-tone embroidery on the chest.

Vanessa Hudgens is also among those running at the event.

Tick, tick…. The BOOM actress, 33, wore a pale green satin Versace number with a slit across one leg.

Her deep neckline and striking look was completed with a pair of gold open-toe heels and an elegant gold bracelet.

She was attending with baseball star boyfriend Cole Tucker, 25, who looked dapper in a black suit with a white shirt buttoned casually at the neck.

Jada Pinkett Smith also looked amazing in a royal blue evening gown as she waited to see if chubby Will Smith would win for his performance in King Richard.

Her dramatic two-tone dress features a high collar and an extremely open skirt. She also wears a beautiful sparkly necklace that serves as the collar of the outfit.

Will appeared in a brilliant grandmother’s outfit and shared a smile when wearing a smart couple.

Arguably stealing the show on the red carpet was Hacks star Carl Clemons Hopkins, who sported a gorgeous shiny black outfit.

The actor followed up last year’s Aladdin-esque look at the Emmy Awards with a long sleeveless dress that was tied at the waist with a black belt.

The v-cut outfit, complete with a floral pin, was left open to reveal a mesh shirt underneath and he topped the look with a black leather cap.

Patrick Wilson has a more toned figure wearing a smart black suit with a black bow.

The Conjuring star, 48, was at the ceremony to support his wife Dagmara Dominczyk, 45, who has been nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Music Group in a Drama Series for her work in Succession.

Veteran actor Michael Douglas wanted to show his support for Ukraine amid ongoing unrest with Russia as he showed off a pocket square in the country’s yellow and blue colors.

Belfast actor Jamie Dornan also opted for a dashing suit and bow tie as he posed for pictures with wife Amelia Warner, who looked fabulous in a purple off-the-shoulder gown.

Alexandra Daddario also showed off her incredible figure as she attended in a revealing silver dress with a deep slit neckline that was complimented with a bold leg split.
