Eurovision: Sam Ryder celebrates with Scott Mills

Sam Ryder celebrated an impressive second-place win at Eurovision 2022 in Italy alongside Rylan Clark and Scott Mills, after reversing a prolonged decline in the UK’s fortunes.

Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest, rising to first place with 631 points in a symbolic performance of public support following the country’s invasion by Russia.

The 32-year-old singer-songwriter gave a stellar performance on her hit single Space Man and finished in second place with an impressive score of 466.

The former construction worker celebrated his incredible second place in the final with radio host Scott Mills and TV presenter Rylan Clark, who watched the final together in front of an audience. pseudo Turin.

In another video shared by Scott with his Twitter followers, Sam says it’s “work done” following the impressive Eurovision results.

Sam won the part of the evening – taking the stage at the start of the competition as all the finalists entered the show with the UK star having won a standing ovation from crowd.

To the surprise of many, Sam won the contest by a jury vote – with the British singer topping the table after votes from experts were considered.

And while he continued to sit at the top of the list as votes from the public grew, things changed when the final numbers were announced.

Ukrainian hip-hop band Kalush Orchestra won when it was awarded more than 400 points by the public, taking them to the top of the rankings.

Sam has helped end decades of misery for the UK, with fans hailing Sam as a ‘national hero’ and urging him to be knighted.

The long-haired musician and TikTok star received special favor ahead of the competition thanks to his powerful ballad, Space Man, which evokes classic British pop hits from Queen and Elton John.

In the 2021 contest, the UK came in absolute last after failing to win any votes from either the judges or the public. The UK was also at the bottom of the rankings in 2019, 2010, 2008 and 2003.
