Samsung unveils brand new ‘iPhone killer’ Galaxy phones

SAMSUNG has unveiled brand new flagship smartphones Galaxy S23 in its latest offering for iPhone.
The South Korean electronics giant has unveiled three new versions – although on the surface it might be difficult to tell the difference from its predecessors.
Samsung has largely stuck to the same design of yesteryear, packing much of the slick stuff inside.
The range includes the main Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23+ and the big beast Galaxy S23 Ultra.
They all feature a brand new chip – known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 – that makes things super fast, especially for heavy tasks like gaming.
The 12-megapixel selfie camera is also the same on all three.
But the rest is very different.
First, the Ultra’s main camera has an impressive 200-megapixel lens for exceptional detail in photos.
It is able to zoom very close to objects that are farther away compared to many other smartphones including the iPhone.
The display size remains the same as before at 6.8 inches wide.

Meanwhile, both the S23 and S23+ have a 50MP snapper.
The only real difference between the two is size – 6.6-inch and 6.1-inch – as well as battery capacity.
Samsung also boasts that all S23 phones are end-to-end encrypted throughout the lifecycle of the device, including the chipset, the software, and even the apps.
Paolo Pescatore, an expert at PP Foresight, told The Sun most of these are “subtle incremental improvements”.
“Sams’s relentless drive to improve the camera is extraordinary,” he said
“One of the outstanding features.
“The Premium Ultra device will probably remain a key product.”
As for competition from Apple’s iPhone, he added: “Samsung is a worthy opponent and these latest devices are certainly good enough to compete with Apple and the iPhone.
“But iPhone owners are extremely loyal and the total package with a highly integrated service offering is well received by consumers.

“While it might tempt some users to switch, Samsung hopes to get users to trade in their existing devices; even some who have been keeping their phones for some time.”
