Samsung’s M8 Smart 4K Monitor comes with a $100 gift card

One of the best deals of the week is for a product that isn’t even on the market yet. If you pre-order the Samsung M8 4K 32-inch smart monitor, from $699.99, before April 17th you will receive a $100 Samsung credit to use towards future purchases. Just a warning that the white model, priced at $699.99, is currently scheduled to ship in early May. Other colors like green and pink (which cost $30 more) will ship by April 18th. There is a blue option, but it’s not available for pre-order yet.

The M8 monitor has some features that many others don’t have. I wrote about them all here, but if you want the thin, here it goes: It can run smart TV apps like Apple TV Plus, Netflix, and more, even if you don’t have a computer or streaming device to connect to. If you connect a mouse and keyboard to it, you can also access Microsoft Office apps. Additionally, it includes a webcam that snaps onto the top, which you can use to video chat through Google Duo.

Samsung says the credit will expire on 12/31/2022, so keep that in mind if that’s one of the reasons you’re buying this.

Samsung’s latest smart monitor, the 32-inch 4K M8, comes in four colors, and each of them has some pretty cool tricks. You can stream TV and movie streaming apps, run Microsoft Office apps, and more. It comes with a connectable webcam that you can also use to make Google Duo video calls.

Microsoft is small but powerful The Xbox Series S console is $30 less than usual at Newegg. When you enter the code APRBRA338 At checkout, the price drops from $299.99 to $269.99 before tax. We’ve seen slightly better deals before, but whether you’re a current or potential Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, it’s like getting two months free.

Just in case you didn’t know, the Series S is a little brother to the Series X, and its features and performance are expectedly lower. Notably, it lacks a disc drive and aims for high frame rates at sub-4K resolutions. So it’s not the right console for a more demanding gamer who needs top-notch performance. But it could be the perfect device for someone who needs a streaming device meets a console.

Microsoft Xbox Series S

Xbox Series S is much smaller than the 4K-capable Xbox Series X, but it can still handle the same digital games – albeit at a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440. It also plays original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox Ones thanks to extensive backwards compatibility Xbox One games.

If you’re a Costco member, you can snap Apple’s HomePod Mini in white, blue, yellow, or space gray for $79.99, which is $20 less than retail. This is in the same range as the lowest price we’ve seen so far, although it’s not that much for non-members. You can check out without a Costco membership, but $4.75 (five percent of cost) will be added to your total.

While the HomePod Mini has a lower-pitched sound than the larger (now-discontinued) HomePod, it shares almost all of the same features. You can use your voice to command Siri and control your HomeKit smart devices.

Apple’s HomePod mini offers good sound for its size and works well with other Apple devices.

Roborock’s E4 Robot Vacuum Cleaner is heavily discounted on Amazon, selling for $199.99 after clipping the coupon on the page. This model was recently nominated as the “best robot vacuum cleaner on a budget” by The edge‘s smart home expert Jennifer Pattison Tuohy. In their tests, the E4 had an impressive runtime of around 200 minutes and has four levels of cleaning, ranging from powerful to a light mode that’s not too noisy. It doesn’t have the self-draining reservoir of more expensive models, but the reservoir is generously sized.

Gee, robot vacuums are becoming affordable, yeah?

Roborock E4

With the same battery as its more expensive S7 sibling, capable of running for 200 minutes and a huge 640ml tank, the E4 is a workhorse. It’s also very nimble, cleaning in methodical rows and working with Google Home and Alexa voice assistants.
