SAS: Who Dares Wins: Rudy Reyes replaces Ant Middleton

Fans of SAS: Who Dares Wins have seen doubles as the popular Channel 4 series returns with a host of new instructors, following Ant Middleton’s departure from the show.

Former head coach Ant slammed the show for its health and safety policies as well as being too “scriptural” after being criticized for misconduct.

Newcomers, former US Special Forces agents Rudy Reyes and Remi Adeleke have brought fresh energy to the Channel 4 series, but some fans noticed a striking similarity between Ant and his replacement. he is Rudy.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “Replacing Ant with his American twin,” while another said: “So we ‘fired’ Ant Middleton and replaced him by… .. someone who looks like an American.”

Another social media user posted: “The Crikey Ant replacement is like a Hollywood actor playing Ant,” while another savage fan wrote: “This guy is really trying to be a Ant Middleton wishes.”

Another wrote: “So they replaced the pesky Ant Middleton with a clone”, as fellow fans mourned Ant’s loss on the show, writing: “I have to be honest that I miss Ant Middleton. The show wouldn’t be the same without him.”

Another posted: “For goodness’ sake someone call Ant Middleton and give him his job back.”

A fellow Channel 4 viewer wrote: “5 minutes into the new series of SAS: Who Dare to Win and I still haven’t felt it.

“One of my favorite series but Channel 4 went the wrong way after losing Ant Middleton – too American.”

Instructors Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox and Mark “Billy” Billingham said they haven’t heard from Middleton yet, but Billingham said he feels certain their former colleague will watch the show.

“Ant probably feels, ‘it can’t go on without me’. But it can. The show gets tougher,” Foxy said.

“What you get is raw, real, it has worked in the past. Don’t repair it if it’s not broken. Anyone entering that course is treated equally.

“We don’t consider gender, color, race, it’s a flat platform you’ve chosen to come from.”

Foxy added: “Maybe those comments were a knee-jerk reaction. We increased the intensity because of where we filmed. “

Foxy and Billy said the seventh leg was more intense, as the fierce challenges were filmed in the Jordan desert, not Scotland.

SAS: Who Dare Win will return to Channel 4 and All 4 Sundays at 9pm.
