Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left “in pieces” at tonight’s transformation of Ant and Dec.
The Geordie duo surprised fans at home by transforming into rock stars as they wrapped up the show.
Changing their outfits from smart suits to an all-leather look, the hosts reappeared on stage as if they were part of a band.
Ant and Dec have been compared to the likes of interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and comedians Russell Brand and Ross Noble when they looked completely unrecognizable.
Fans were stunned by her makeovers – they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Another joked, “Wonderful to see Ross Noble and Russel Brand together.”
A third commented: ” #SaturdayNightTakeaway I see Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen is back on primetime television…”
Someone else even suggested that the stars should embrace their new looks in the future.
They wrote: “Ant and Dec should adopt this look forever #SaturdayNightTakeaway.”
Her incredible transformations come after the stars transformed into drag in a recent episode.
The presenters participated in a special “End of the Show Show” of RuPaul’s Drag Race, where RuPaul introduced three winners of the show for a performance.
Viewers of the family show revealed how the presenters’ transformations “blew their minds”.
They became The Ladies of the North, with Ant as Lady Antoinette and Dec as Miss Donna Lee.
They sang about being the “Angels of the North” and joined Drag Race UK stars The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney and Krystal Versace for an epic musical number.
During and after the moment, viewers took to Twitter to share their reactions – and the presenters wowed fans with their new looks.
Saturday Night Takeaway returned in February with some big changes from the last series.
Live audiences were once again welcomed with open arms after the boys were forced to leave the crowd for social distancing last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ant and Dec were visibly surprised when the crowd roared at them as they raced to the stage.
As they hailed the return of the hosts and their hit ITV show, Ant was quick to say how grateful he was to have real people in the studio again.
There hasn’t been a live audience for a full series since 2018 as the ITV show aired in 2019 and then had to go without in-studio viewers for the following two years due to social distancing.
Part of the 2020 series was with audiences before the hosts had to host the final episodes from home.
