Saturday Night Takeaway: Ant and Dec announces show cancellation

Audiences of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway went wild after the Geordie duo confirmed that the ITV show would be canceled next weekend.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are back for another Saturday night out and enjoying the hit ITV show.

Millions of fans have tuned in every weekend to see Ant and Dec in action, since the pair’s award-winning show returned last month.

When the Geordie duo opened the show’s first half, they announced that the Takeaway sequel would run for two weeks.

Ant told the studio audience: “You may have heard some of you won’t have a show next week because of rugby.”

One person wrote: “No airing next week!!” as another posted: “No Takeaway Saturday Night next week due to rugby! Waaaaaahhh” with a crying emoji.

Another social media user wrote: “NEW WEEK LEARNED?

A fellow Takeaway viewer wrote: “No show next week?! What?” as another tweeted: “No football Saturday night Takeaway coz – rather my Saturday night treat,” along with a string of crying emojis.

Six Nations Live will air on ITV on Saturday, March 19 when England play France.

This happened when Stephen Mulhern’s doctor ordered him off school Saturday Night for the third week of running.

The 44-year-old TV presenter wrote on Twitter: “Hi everyone, Sorry for being quiet here lately and thanks for all your lovely messages.

Stephen made a brief appearance on the show’s premiere night on February 19 dressed as Donald Trump for the series’ opening.

Last week, fans were shocked when the humorous man disappeared from our screens, with many taking to Twitter to question his whereabouts.
