Ant and Dec wear drag to the ‘end of the show’

ITV has been hit with some complaints about Ofcom after Saturday Night Takeaway kicked off its latest season with an explosion that saw hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly transform into drag queens.

The Geordie duo were joined by a live audience for the first time in nearly two years as their scissor alter egos shone across the stage.

Ant, 46, gorgeously transformed into Lady Antoinette to give an “impressive” performance on the show.

Joined by co-host Dec, 46, who became Miss Donna Lee, the pair were unrecognizable in their giant wigs, fake tans and mass makeup.

Some viewers even said that Ant McPartlin’s traction changed the ego reminds them of singer Jesy Nelson, former Little Mix singer.

However, some viewers were not impressed with the performance and registered a formal complaint with broadcast regulator Ofcom.

Out of a total of 71 complaints made on Saturday Night Live, 59 were related to habitual stretching.

Meanwhile, a number of complaints have been made about the protest prank being played on Jeremy Clarkson61 years old, on his Oxfordshire farm.

ITV Viewers made eight complaints about the segment, which saw Jeremy arrive at his ranch as ‘protesters’ chanted: “Stop working so hard, keep your land” while holding hands warning signs.

“He didn’t look very impressed,” Ant said, disguised as a protester.

Another woman said to Jeremy: “Hi, my name is Laura, I am one of…” before Jeremy cut her off.

The Top Gear star said in a curt voice: “The point about soil is that you can’t hurt it.”

Dec, disguised in a badass wig, taunted the star by saying, “Maybe you should phone a friend” over a megaphone.

Dec said Jeremy was on their Saturday Night “Hot List” for at least a decadebut they never figured out how to get him on the show.

He said above This morning : “We always thought we’d never get him, but we got him: his lovely girlfriend Lisa.

“We caught her and she said yes, I will help you do it. She said come down to the farm and we will arrange for him. ”

The Grand Tour presenter has been with ex-model girlfriend Lisa Hogan, 48, for five years now and is the star couple on Amazon’s hit show Clarkson’s Farm.

Ant weighed in, saying: “Honestly, he’s hot-tempered, as we all know, so we’re very nervous about that.”
