Una Healy is said to be single again after her six-month affair with an Irish policeman ended.

The Saturday singer, 40, has been dating the Dublin-based police officer since late last year, but his identity has yet to be seen by the public.

Reports surfaced over the weekend that the pair had been on rock and Sundayworld.com tonight confirmed that an Una spokesperson told them: “Una is currently single and no longer dating a member of Garda.”

It seems that Una didn’t spend much time thinking about the relationship, which was prompted by a mutual friend.

Talking to SunA source told them: “She’s not up there. She’s feeling great and embracing the single life.

“Una is busy with work and has her two kids to look after so it’s not like she’s twirling her thumb.”

The singer-songwriter then dated David Breen, a Limerick hurdler, for 18 months before they split in early 2020.

Una returned to Ireland in 2020 to become a TV presenter, after 13 years in the UK, and she spoke about using dating apps before starting her last relationship.

She told The Sun last year: “I know a few people who have used the apps and they’ve been texted and told me, ‘A catfish is up there, pretending to be you’ and like like, ‘That’s me. ‘.

Una added: “I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t date a celebrity or someone in a casual job, or anything normal. What I do is normal for me.
