Scarlett Moffatt tearfully warns fans after being stalked by stranger

Scarlett Moffatt shared an emotional video after a stranger followed her and saw her location on social media.

he presenter and former glasses box star posted a video late Wednesday (31st August) in which she tells her followers how, after posting about her trip to London, she was approached by a man she didn’t know.

Moffatt began the clip by thanking track staff named Danny and Neil for their help during the event.

“I’m doing this so people realize the importance of using social media and not posting where you are,” a visibly shaken Moffatt said to the camera.

“I stupidly and naively posted an Instagram post that said ‘Off to London by train’ and as I got into King’s Cross station there was a guy.

“Because Danny and Neil were there, I stayed calm, but this guy came up to me and said, ‘Scarlett, I’ve been waiting for you, you’re coming home with me.'”

She went on to say that after refusing his advances, the man continued to try to approach her, calling her name.

Soon after, a train guard saw what had happened and called Moffatt to join them on the pretense that they knew each other. The railway workers then took them safely to their hotel.

“I want to say you [sic]don’t post anything because you never know who’s looking at your stories,” she continued with her message.

“Please people, watch what you post.”
