Scientists develop JELLYFISH “Crisps” as slimy creatures invade British shores

MAURADING jellyfish get stung in the tail – scientists want to turn them into chips.
Swarms have flocked to Britain’s shores during warm summers, but preparing pub snacks could provide a nutritious solution.
The slimy sea creatures can be made crunchy by marinating them in alcohol or doused with salt and vinegar.
The researcher dr. Mathias Clausen even said: “It’s not an unfamiliar taste – it’s a bit like roast pork.”
His team at Southern Denmark University is now experimenting with flavor options.
Meanwhile, a Sainsbury’s Food of the Future report confirmed: “Recent research has revealed that jellyfish are packed with nutrients and vitamins.
“In recent years, jellyfish blooms have become a concern for coastal communities and industries.
“Danish researchers have developed a method to turn nutrient-rich jellyfish into crispy chips.”
