SEASON tickets for Albion’s WSL games next season will see record attendance as sales have increased 249 percent since last year.
The rebound came after England Women’s Euro final victory over Germany on Sunday, decided by Chloe Kelly’s winner in extra time for the Lionesses.
Albion women’s head coach Hope Powell told the club’s website: “Sunday’s win against Germany comes at the perfect time for women’s football in this country as it grows exponentially each season.
“What the Lionesses did was inspirational for all genders and ages, but what’s so exciting is knowing that there were so many young girls watching and they never felt more motivated to go out and play the game.
“Part of that comes to see their team play at the weekend, so it’s great that we’re going to have more season ticket holders at every home game than ever before.
“They make a huge difference to our performances on the pitch and we can’t wait to see them all very soon as we start the new season at the Amex against Aston Villa.”
The Villans game is on September 11th and the next home game after that is Reading on September 25th, both of which will be played at the Amex Stadium.
