Second celebrity to be kicked out of Dancing On Ice after musical week

Michelle Heaton has become the second celebrity to be dropped from Dancing On Ice after a musical-themed live performance.
Actress and former singer Liberty X, 43, failed to impress with her skating routine to All That Jazz from Chicago during ITV’s celebrity skating competition.
Following news that there would be no skating, the judges’ scores were combined with public votes to determine Heaton as the least popular skater of the night.
After learning of her fate, Heaton said: “I am truly heartbroken.
“I loved every second of it and I loved everything that I just did there.”
Regarding his professional partner, Lukasz Rozycki, Heaton added: “This man is amazing and I couldn’t do without you. I’m sorry it was cut short.”
Also on Sunday night, former EastEnders actress and DJ Patsy Palmer fell on the ice while dressed as Elphaba in the musical Wicked – complete with green body paint.
While performing his usual Defying Gravity, Palmer, 50, tripped, momentarily lost his balance and slipped across the ice before being helped by professional co-star Matt Evers.
Despite the error, Palmer earned a score of 20.5 and finished the performance with a winch pulled into the air.
After the customary section, judge Ashley Banjo said: “I just respect you for what you’re doing. I think you are pushing yourself.
Jayne Torvill added: “I love that you seem to enjoy the performance and your skating has improved – but obviously the fall dropped the score significantly.”
The live show was a particular success for Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, who earned the series’ highest score to date.

The 27-year-old topped the chart with a score of 33.5 after opening Sunday’s show and remained at the top for the duration of the show.
Wilson earned himself an impressive score with a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang themed performance alongside pro skating partner Olivia Smart.
After plunging out of an old car onto the ice, Wilson wowed the judges – with Christopher Dean describing the routine as “awesome”.
Banjo added: “It’s full of content but you made it look easy… It’s the next level, my friend.”
Darren Harriott delivered a Bugsy Malone-inspired performance alongside his professional partner Tippy Packard.
Following the humorous routine of skating to Fat Sam’s Grand Slam and seeing Harriott, 34, finish with a custard pie in the face, the judges awarded the comedian and presenter a score of 27.
“It was a great performance,” said Torvill. You’ve got the skills to skate… Now you need to pay attention to every detail to complete the moves perfectly.”
Vivienne also impressed the judges with her performance of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.
In an Evita-inspired performance, the Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK star stunned the judges with an elegant routine alongside their professional partner Colin Grafton, earning a score of 32.5
After finding herself in last week’s skating competition, Love Island’s Ekin-Su Culculoglu achieved a score of 23 for her The Sound Of Music-inspired performance, while The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran won got 26.5 points for his Bohemian Rhapsody performance.
Actress Carley Stenson just missed out on top spot after earning an impressive 32.5, and Coronation Street actress Mollie Gallagher took home a score of 28.5 for her emotional routine with She. used to be mine from the musical Waitress.
Joey Essex ended the evening with an energetic performance of You’re The One That I Want, from Grease, alongside professional collaborator Vanessa Bauer.
After the routine, the couple dressed up as Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson, The Only Way Is Essex star, 32, earned a score of 29 and suggested that his and Bauer’s relationship could blossom from the ice.
Host Holly Willoughby asked: “Is there anything you two want to tell us?”
Essex winked and replied, “Danny and Sandy are having a pretty good relationship, if you know what I mean.”
Willoughby said: “I mean, is it stable, as they say in Grease?”
“Of course yes, always steady,” Essex said.
Dancing On Ice continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
