Selena Gomez says she’s “someone who’s still learning, but more certain of what’s important” as she reflected on her recent 30th birthday.
The American singer-actor said she’s “starting to really like 30” and that she’s moving forward with the help of “a lot of strong, empowering people.”
Gomez celebrated her 30th birthday last Friday on July 22.
Writing on Instagram, she said: “It’s been a while to catch up. Although there are many words to say, I will simply leave it here.
“My twenties have been a journey through good, hard, and beautiful moments that I will never forget. Each of them shaped me into the person I am today.
“I am someone who is still learning, but more certain of what is important and what she wants.
“One is grateful for every gift and every lesson along the way. I am moving forward encouraged by so many strong people, giving me strength…
“I want to do my best to embrace the beautiful and the painful one day and let it all make me the best person I can be for myself/others/you.
“After a few days of celebration, my heart feels full, grateful, and I can say I’m starting to really like 30.
“Thank you SO so much for being a part of my life, this is another decade! I love you so much inside and out! “
In addition to her successful music career, Gomez also starred opposite Steve Martin and Martin Short in the Disney+ comedy series Only Murders In The Building.
