The Sunset star Maya Vander has announced that she suffered a miscarriage at ten weeks – just six months after giving birth to her stillborn son, Mason.
The 41-year-old reality TV star took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal the horrifying news to her 1.3 million followers.
Along with a photo of her three-year-old son Aiden sleeping, Maya wrote on her Story: “I’ve had a crazy week. Miscarriage ten weeks after I was still born.
“But my children and my husband are absolutely my blessing and I’m so lucky to be their mother! They bring joy and happiness into my life! Hug and love those who you care. Don’t take things for granted!”

In addition to Aiden, Maya and her husband David have two-year-old daughter Elle Madison.
Just last month, real estate agent Maya revealed about stillbirth on the show’s fifth season reunion episode.
Speaking to presenter and fashion designer Tan France, she said: “Instead of giving birth, I come home with a box of memories… I don’t want this in anyone. The weekly check-up has become a nightmare I never imagined would happen to me.
“With me sharing my pregnancy on the show, I knew I’d have to post about this and avoid the ‘when’s your due date’ question. You will always be in our hearts. me, baby Mason,” she added.
When Tan asked her how she was doing, she replied, “Much better, it’s been four and a half months and Mary mentioned earlier that time does help, and I think time does.
“You know, life happens all the time. We were filming reality, we didn’t know how things were going. I was 38 weeks and it was obviously a weird accident.
“We got the autopsy report about a month ago. It was just a bad accident with the rope, mixed with some swallowed placenta.”

Maya continued: “But I’m doing much better, and I have my husband, he’s amazing, my kids are great and they’ve always kept me going.
“I have a job and a busy schedule so I don’t have time to sit and cry all day. I have my moments, we all do, and that’s part of grief.
“So that void is still there and I think part of my healing is getting pregnant again, and I really hope I do,” she added as Tan described her as a “Superwoman”.
