Serena Williams will look to end her career at the US Open on a grand scale if the 23-time Grand Slam champion is eliminated at Flushing Meadows.

Williams, who also got into doubles with sister Venus, is on duty on the opening day of the game in New York after confirming her intention to “evolve” away from tennis earlier in August.

When does the US Open start?

The US Open main draw starts on Monday 29th August. The tournament lasts two weeks. The women’s singles final will take place on Saturday 10th September and the men’s singles final on Sunday 11th September.
