Professor Sir Keith Willett, NHS Britain’s national director for emergency planning and incident response has been knighted, while former Olympic swimmer Melanie Marshall has been awarded an MBE.

Dame Arlene proved herself to be a great addition to the Dancing On Ice jury on Sunday night – and people have been calling for her to be on the jury full-time.

Within minutes of the show starting, viewers took to social media to discuss how great it was for the choreographer to return to TV.

“Please, can we keep Arlene? #DOI #DancingOnIce,” one fan asked as the show aired on Sunday night, with another concurring, tweeting: “Nice to see Arlene back. back on TV!”

“Bring Arlene back to #Strictly! #DancingOnIce #DOI,” a third requested, referring to the star’s previous performance on BBC Ballroom dance series.
