Urban Explorer discovers abandoned 1980s McDonald’s

An urban explorer has been filming inside a long-abandoned McDonald’s, untouched since the 1980s.

The US-based explorer, known by his nickname Triangle Of Mass (@trianglemass), found a multitude of vintage treasures at the long-defunct restaurant.

These included retro soda machines, vintage appliances, and quirky pink and blue seating, as well as a barely worn hot chocolate machine that said “Always Fresh, Always Here.”

The explorer, who has been fascinated by abandoned buildings since the age of seven, came across the place with the help of another content creator called ADHD Urbex after getting a tip from a pal.

Footage of the adventure has since racked up more than 629,000 views and 116,000 likes and includes the Paul Anka song “Put Your Head on My Shoulder.”

The clip shows the fun 80’s establishment still set up as if customers are about to return any moment, showing off the old counter, fridges and shelving.

TriangleOfMass told NeedToKnow.online: “Inside was insane just to think that everything that’s been left there over the years is gathering dust. To think that people used to work there and eat there and the memories once shared here at this McDonald’s is just crazy to me!”

The video left viewers feeling nostalgic, with one person recalling, “I remember when the dining area looked like this!”

Another person noted that it was a real trip down memory lane, while a third sighed, “Love this, wish some McDonald’s and other fast food chains stayed like this, it’s so cool!”

A fourth person gasped: “The little TVs! That’s amazing, I remember it,” while another said the color scheme reminded her of “Taco Bell back then too.”
