The man who was seen stealing Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s sex tapes from the Disney+ series Pam & Tommy has claimed he actually had nothing to do with it.
Rand Gauthier, played by Seth Rogen in the film, is seen in the film breaking into the famous couple’s home in 1995 to steal their safe after Tommy fires him and refuses to pay him to the public. what he’s done – or even give him stuff back.
After stealing the safe, Rand stumbles across a clear video of the home featuring the Baywatch star and drummer Motley Crue.
He teamed up with his porn producer friend to sell the tape on the internet, only to be followed by the couple’s private eyes and find himself in a huge mess.
But now, the real man behind the character has insisted that the show is far from the truth.
Electrician Rand says he really had nothing to do with the theft, but mafia killers held him accountable.
He claims that it was the fearsome crime family Gambino who were the real force behind the scene appearing there and that they brought him to his knees for it.
63-year-old man told Sun on Sunday : “After the sex tape was stolen, I told a capo (boss) to the Gambino crime family, ‘Everybody thinks this is me, I don’t want it on my shoulder’.
“He said to me, ‘We want it on your shoulders.’ He made me an offer that I couldn’t refuse and that I was in no position to argue with the Gambino family. I don’t. must be a thug.
“So the whole thing fell on me. But the truth is I had nothing to do with stealing the sex tape and I didn’t make a dime from it.”
Rand apologized to Pamela for his role in spreading the tape around the world in 1996, but said he was just a player in a much larger conspiracy.
He said he was “really sorry” if Pam was “hurt” by what happened.
And while he admits to feeling guilty about his part in the events, he says the whole incident also changed his life and it almost resulted in him being “killed”.
Pam, 54, was left disappointed when an intimate film she made with new husband Tommy, now 59, became the first celebrity sex tape to go viral.
The couple divorced in 1998.
