Sharon Stone has been candid about her thoughts on aging.
In a recent cover story in Vogue Arabia, the Hollywood icon recalled how she used to receive frequent botox until she suffered a devastating stroke that made her swear off injections entirely.
“There were times in superstardom where I got botox and fillers and stuff and then I had this massive stroke and a nine day brain bleed and I had to have 300+ shots of botox and fillers to make one side of my face come back high,” revealed Stone.
From this point on, the primal instinct The actress has never viewed cosmetic surgery in the same way. Instead, she has been turned off by anti-aging procedures, which she says have morphed from a “cute luxury into some kind of massive, painful neurological need.”
Stone, 64, had decided she would never use botox or fillers again until a new partner approached her about the topic of beauty enhancement. The actress explained that she was in a relationship with another man who asked her if she used botox. Stone told him, “It would probably be really good for your ego and mine if I did.”
Recalling how the relationship ended shortly thereafter, she said, “I saw him again after that and then he wasn’t interested in seeing me anymore.”
“If you don’t see me for more than that, please find your way to the exit,” she added.
Despite her former partner’s negative reaction, Stone shared that she feels happier than ever these days. “I feel like this is the most exciting and creative time of my life,” she told the magazine. “I feel really, really lucky. I’ve never been so happy.”
In June, Stone announced that she had lost nine children to miscarriages. The flight attendant star commented on a People magazine Instagram post in which dancer Peta Murgatroyd revealed she suffered a miscarriage while her husband was in Ukraine.
In the comments section, Stone wrote, “We women do not have a forum to discuss the depth of this loss. I lost nine children to miscarriage.”

“It’s no small thing, physically or emotionally, but we feel like it’s something we have to endure alone and secretly with a sense of failure,” she continued.
Stone added, “Rather than receiving the much-needed compassion and empathy and healing that we so desperately need. Feminine health and well-being, left in the care of masculine ideology, have become careless at best, in fact ignorant, and violently repressive in their efforts.”
Stone is the mother of three sons through adoption – Roan Joseph Bronstein, 22, Laird Vonne Stone, 17, and Quinn Kelly Stone, 16.
