Random Acts of Kindness Day hit an Asda branch on Thursday – and one woman was left speechless at how kind a complete stranger was.
Channel Wilson visited the supermarket in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, to pick up her prescription.
But Manchester Evening News reported that she was having trouble trying to pick up the item at the pharmacy.
When the 25-year-old came to pay for her medicine, her card was declined.
Then, when her Apple Watch was also inactive, she received a tap on the shoulder.
Regardless of the total cost, a customer behind her offered to pay her bill.
Channel insists she will pay the woman’s debt by transferring money to her – but she refuses.
The shopper said she was completely taken aback by the kind gesture.

She said: “She didn’t even know how many prescriptions could be.
“It was one but she didn’t know it and was willing to pay my entire bill.
“She was so generous and kind and I said ‘Honestly, it’s okay, I’ll go get my card from the car’ and she typed her card on the machine.
“I asked if I could transfer the money to you and told me no and go and enjoy my day.
“I just couldn’t believe how generous and kind she was.”
