Shoreham man charged with robbery and assault
Police have charged a man with robbery and multiple assaults following an incident on Monday October 31.
The incident happened at a shop in Ferry Road, Shoreham.
Samuel Brown, 31, has been charged with robbery, one assault by beating and one assault and has been remanded in custody.
Officers were called to a Ferry Road shop around 6.40pm on Monday after several suspects reportedly entered and assaulted the shopkeeper.
Two people suffered minor injuries.
Brown, of Stoney Lane, Shoreham, was arrested after a search of the area and some items were confiscated and returned to the shop.
