American Story Showa is a new RPG in the works, called “a passionate love letter to 80s pop culture” with a strong taste of B-Movie goodness.

In it, you play as Choko, a teenage girl resurrected from the dead. After a miraculous revival, you will embark on a journey of truth and revenge across America.

Before the events of the game happened, the country experienced a “Cultural Colonization” of Japan, after which a mysterious catastrophic incident changed the entire world.

This event formed a wild post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies, monsters, and survivors of different backgrounds and beliefs.

With many questions in mind, surrounding the state of the world and why she has a mysterious power, Choko will travel across the country living in a customizable RV while meeting other people. each other, overcome difficulties and try to live a better life.

With a freestyle fighting style, you will fight against hordes of zombies and monsters, moving, attacking and dodging in a variety of fast-paced combat situations. You will have an arsenal of melee, long-range weapons and some exotic weapons for you to choose and perfect your fighting style.

You can also use different moves and attacks to fight your way through different types of zombies, monsters, and bosses.

Showa American Story will release on PC, PS4 and PS5. It currently has no release date.
